Community initiatives
Supporting the local community is incredibly important to us and Westwood Cross engages in various community projects. The wishing well, in the Main Mall here at Westwood Cross, is particularly popular with our younger guests who like to make a wish whilst throwing a coin into the well.
Our chosen charities
The wishing well helps to support our two charities of the year which are The Salvation Army and 1st St Lawrence Scout Group in Ramsgate with funds generously donated by our guests. There are over 150 young people in 1st St Lawrence Scout Group taking part in Scouts and developing skills for life. We help fundraise for The Salvation Army to support their vital work.
