Looking for some literary inspiration?


Join us on Sunday 14th July, 10am-4pm, for a very exciting new event ­– an open author signing fair.

What could be more thrilling than meeting the person who wrote the words which inspired you?

This is a free event, open to everyone and you’ll be able to talk with some amazing authors and find out what inspires them to pick up the pen and write unforgettable, award-winning prose.

The guest list includes:

  • Mark Holihan, a poet, writer and artist, author of ‘There are no Foreign Lands’. 
  • Christopher Hopkins, a Welsh poet, who has received an IPPY, CLMP Firecracker and three Pushcart Prize nomination. 
  • Tom McColl has been published in magazines such as 'Envoi', 'Iota', 'Prole' and 'Ink, Sweat and Tears', and featured on TV and radio. 
  • Barry Fentiman Hall is primarily a poet of place and has been published in several journals such as ‘Picaroon’, ‘Anti-Heroin Chic’, ‘I Am Not A Silent Poet’, and ‘Crack The Spine’.
  • Carol Salter a Thanet-based novelist who writes Family Fantasy and Adult Contemporary Sci-Fi.

So, tell your friends, mark it in your diary and bring your children too. Who knows, you could end up speaking to the next J.M. Barrie!
